Statement
Today, we have advanced technologies, we can find everything we want from the internet and ALL we need to do is to type into the Google search bar. We stare at screen all the day, we can watch a movie on a computer and also read a book on a computer. All those things have less mortality than we had in the past, like a CD, a DVD, a poster, a book, etc. The thing we had in the past always had longer mortalities. We now learn more about human-computer interactions. But in the past, we learned about human-human interactions. At that time, the time was slow, we went around and talked to people in the neighborhood. It was so easy for us to gain happiness.
In this project, I want to use the CD design to remind me of the life in late 90s and early 00s, my childhood.
I created three elements including a wired phone, an old-type fan, and a film. All those things were used in the 90s and 00s in my childhood.
I can still remember the night I was sitting in the living room and talking to my friend through the wired phone.
This CD contains a playlist of Chinese pop music from the early 00s. During that time, my mom always bought albums with a mix of songs from a variety of singers and that was the reason I could hear so many different songs at one time.
