Statement

These days, people are living in a fast-paced society working and studying with high pressure. I want to create a Japanese wine bar, that can warm people’s hearts and bring people together to slow down their pace and get rested.

While trying to create a logo for the Japanese bar, I started to think about what can relate to Japan but also have the meaning of slow life, patience, and warmth. After doing tons of research, I found an animal named Capybara, which is Kapibara in Japanese. Capybaras are kind to other animals and humans, and they never get hurried about anything but move and eat slowly to enjoy their life,

Therefore, I believe Capybara can well illustrate my concept and that’s why I selected Capybara as my key image for the design.

I also drew a list of illustrations for the menu.
